This SaaS Usage Policy ("Usage Policy") supplements the Terms of Service and governs acceptable use of the Acqro platform. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violation of this policy may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action.
1. Fair Use Policy
Each subscription plan includes a defined monthly allocation of email drafts, AI searches, and related platform features. These allocations are designed for normal, good-faith B2B outreach usage:
| Plan | Email Drafts / Month | Inbox Warmups |
|---|---|---|
| Launch | 2,000 | 3 inboxes |
| Growth | 5,000 | 9 inboxes |
| Scale | 12,000 | Unlimited |
| Managed | 5,000 verified leads | 9 warmed addresses |
- Unused allocations do not roll over to subsequent billing periods.
- Allocations are per-account, not per-user. Shared team workspaces on Growth and Scale plans share the same allocation pool.
- We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that exhibit abnormal usage patterns that could degrade Service performance for other users.
2. Anti-Spam Compliance
All outreach conducted through or generated by Acqro must comply with applicable anti-spam laws, including the United States CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.), Canada's CASL, and the European Union's GDPR.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your outreach activities comply with all applicable laws. Specifically, you must:
- Identify Yourself: All emails must accurately identify the sender and the sender's organization.
- Include Physical Address: All commercial emails must include a valid physical postal address.
- Provide Opt-Out Mechanism: All emails must include a clear and conspicuous mechanism for recipients to opt out of future communications.
- Honor Opt-Outs Promptly: Opt-out requests must be honored within 10 business days.
- Avoid Deceptive Subject Lines: Subject lines must not be misleading about the content or purpose of the email.
- Avoid Purchased Lists Without Consent: You must not send emails to purchased, scraped, or rented lists where recipients have not provided consent to receive communications from your organization.
3. Email Content Standards
Content generated or sent through the Acqro platform must not contain:
- False, misleading, or deceptive claims about products, services, or the sender's identity.
- Phishing attempts or social engineering attacks.
- Malware, viruses, or links to malicious websites.
- Content promoting illegal activities, violence, hatred, or discrimination.
- Sexually explicit material.
- Content that violates the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Financial scams, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent investment opportunities.
All AI-generated email drafts must be reviewed by a human operator before sending. Acqro's AI generates draft content as a starting point — you are solely responsible for the final content you choose to send.
4. Data Accuracy and Responsibility
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all target contact data you upload to or use within the platform.
- You must maintain appropriate records of consent for any contacts you engage via the platform, where required by law.
- You must promptly remove contacts who have opted out, bounced, or requested removal.
- You must not upload contact data belonging to individuals under the age of 18.
5. Deliverability and Reputation
To protect the deliverability of all Acqro users and the platform's sender reputation:
- You must maintain a bounce rate below 3%. Accounts that exceed this threshold may be flagged for review.
- You must maintain a spam complaint rate below 0.1%. Accounts that exceed this threshold may be suspended.
- You must not engage in email practices designed to circumvent spam filters, including obfuscation, URL shortener abuse, or invisible text tricks.
- Domain warm-up schedules must be followed as prescribed by the platform. Sending high volumes from newly configured domains before proper warm-up is prohibited.
6. API Usage
For plans that include API access (Growth and Scale):
- API calls are subject to rate limits as documented in our API documentation.
- API keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly or embedded in client-side code.
- Automated scripts that interact with the API must implement reasonable retry logic and exponential backoff.
- You must not use the API to build a competing product or service.
- We reserve the right to revoke API access for accounts that abuse rate limits or violate this policy.
7. Account Sharing and Access
- Launch Plan: Single-user access only. Credentials must not be shared with other individuals.
- Growth and Scale Plans: Include shared team workspace features. Team members should each have their own login credentials.
- Account credentials must not be shared with individuals outside your organization.
- You must not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or to obtain additional free trials.
8. System Integrity
You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Acqro platform.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or systems.
- Use automated bots, crawlers, or scrapers to interact with the platform beyond authorized API usage.
- Introduce viruses, worms, trojans, or other malicious code into the platform.
- Perform load testing, stress testing, or vulnerability scanning without prior written authorization.
9. Monitoring and Enforcement
We monitor platform usage to ensure compliance with this policy and to maintain Service quality. Monitoring may include:
- Automated analysis of sending volumes, bounce rates, and spam complaint rates.
- Review of flagged accounts that exhibit unusual patterns.
- Periodic audits of API usage and system access logs.
We will not read the content of your emails. Monitoring is limited to metadata and aggregate usage metrics.
10. Violations and Consequences
If we determine that you have violated this Usage Policy, we may take one or more of the following actions at our sole discretion:
- Warning: A written notice describing the violation and requesting corrective action.
- Throttling: Temporary reduction of your sending volume or API rate limits.
- Suspension: Temporary suspension of your account pending investigation.
- Termination: Permanent termination of your account without refund.
- Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement or initiation of legal proceedings for severe violations.
The severity of the response will be proportional to the nature, severity, and recurrence of the violation.
